Anything planned yet? The chatter for the last few years has started sometime in June. Hope we do as I've enjoyed it the last few years especially at Buckhorn.

Hey guys,



Bill Tiner sent out an e-mail the other day asking why we(BDDD Club) couldn't do a campout at Buckhorn Lake RV Resort in Kerrville. I think we need to pick a weekend that Buckhorn is not booked up during October or November and go. Invite anyone with a CTD to "come on down"!



I'm always looking for an excuse to go to the Texas Hill Country!

If I remember correctly Curtis passed the jobs on to others, and I don't know who is in charge now. I don't know if we will have one this year.

I wonder if we could work with Eric McBride and the DHRA to get a TiM or May Madness type of event down this way. We could have it at the Motorplex in Ennis for drag racing, show & shine, and vendor alley. If we could find a place for camping and maybe a sled pull, we'd be set. I don't know about hotel space, but between Ennis and Waxahachie, we should have enough rooms.

It's the price those big tracks want for one day of racing. Take for instance, Houston Raceway Park gets $10,000 a day plus insurance and personnel for their track. Plust hey want a take of the gate. I don't know of anyone that will bankroll a price tag that big.



We are still looking into doing a truck event/ info seminar, but all the details are not final. A few things have to fall into plae to make it happen. When and if everything comes together, you guys will be the first to know.
