TDR Spotted on I-10

I spotted a white 3rd Gen Quad cab 2wd on I-10 in Boerne. I was headed to San Antonio on 11/10/2007 (in my wifes Toyota FJ). Ran the SA marathon on the 11th.

FLynes- good to see someone in West Texas as a member. I grew up in San Angelo, and after a tour of Texas, ended up back in the area. Thank you for your service to our country. God Bless.

Gary, thanks for the kind words. I fell in love with San Angelo 11 years ago, when I was here for AIT. I decided that there was no better way to spend my last three years in service than to come back and teach today's military youth and send them out to the field. Brooke and I are going to retire here... the town isn't too big or too small. We just bought a nice two acre property and are going to put up a barn for our horses. This is the only town I've ever been stationed at where people bend over backwards for military folks. It's a comforting feeling...

Now, Now!!! Do not be telling everybody about how great San Angelo is or they will all want to move out here and we will be just like San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, etc. Overcrowded!!!!!!!

Let's just keep it our little West Texas secret.

James

FINALLY!!!!! Another San Angelan! Hey, James, do you have a picture of your 2002 gauges? I want to get some for my 2001, if I can convince the wife to let me get em. I had some Isspros on my 2005 and she hated them... . said they obstructed her view, but realized with the 2001 that the obstruction was actually the A-Pillar.

FLynes,

No I do not have any pictures right now of the gauges in my '02. I am running the 3 gauge A-Pillar mount though. I will be out of town all week but could possibly arrange to meet and let you and your wife look at it if needed to decide.

As a side note I am looking at the Quadzilla Monitor for my '06 instead of separate gauges which will also fit your '01 and does not take up much room.

GordonG,

Yes I work for Lincoln Electric. Do I know you?

killeen

saw an older gentleman in a silver 3rd gen on hwy 190 heading into killeen yesterday afternoon around 4ish clean truck sounded good had a black tool box and flowthru gooseneck tailgate and a tdr sticker in the lower right corner of the back window i was in the kinda rough green and silver 2nd gen dually you passed:D

Backroad Brazoria County

I met a nice Black/Silver 3rd Gen with miter stacks on CR 227. He showed me the stacks were really functional - good smoke for a 3rd Gen truck!

Saw a white 2500 with stacks in San Angelo yesterday, as I was pulling out of Jim Bass Ford. Smoke worked real good!

I was loaded down with a palet of grass and top soil ..... passed by a two tone regular cab first generation with two red stickers on the tail gate ( yeah it's got a Cummins ) about three weeks ago on Hwy 304 south in Bastrop.
