I am going to make it to the Nationals to race tomorrow

Thanks to Piers and Farrell (for those of you who do not know Farrell is a guy who works at Piers and does his head work, porting ect... ) I had my head finally self destruct at Mission last weekend. This was the head that came on the truck when I got it and it had some HARD miles on it When Piers biult my new engine they did not have any heads available and I could not afford a new one so we just cleaned up the old head knowing it was full of cracks and hoped for the best. Well one of the cracks at an exhaust port on #5 was bad enough that over time it created a stress area that got so hot it melted the valve arount the crack and then destoyed the seat behind it. So to make a very long story a little shorter, I found a head (Thank you very much Fullywrecked!!!!! ) and Byron and I took it to Piers and he had it decked and O-ringed and bored out for my 14mm studs and the valve seats milled to accomodate the seals and the dowel holes milled for the larged dowels (all the work other than the decking was done by Farrell) and install the larger valve springs for my Piers stage 3 cam. Farrell finished all this on Thrusday and stayed at the shop with Piers and I till 7:45pm to get it done so I could get the head installed in time to race. Farrell was kind enough to put in the extra hours ON HIS WIFES BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!! so I could get my truck running for the nationals

THANK YOU FARRELL and THANK YOU PIERS!!!!!!! you guys really know what customer service is all about!!!

Support

Hoss,

Thats the kind of support you need, when something like this happens. This being the Nationals weekend. I wish I could be there to root you on. Sam :)

Hey Hoss, you should have tried Lock & Stitch on that cracked valve seat when it was apart last time. Then you could have let us know how it held up!
