I didn't put mine flag up. It is raining in the Chicago area heavily also and I do not have a light on the flag for flying the flag in the dark.

I actually disabled the photo control on my garage light (up between the 2 doors) and left it on all night. I first did that right after the original 911.

I did my part this morning on the way up the road by helping someone that had jumper cables hanging on their truck. Turns out he was a Marine Corps Veteran! What a day to run into issues. Helped him try to get truck started, no success there. He was running late and forgot phone, so offered mine and he got hold of his daughter. Offered to stay until they arrive. He was thankful I stopped and offered assistance. Thanked him for his service and wished him a belated Happy Birthday for the Marine Corps 246th! I offer my warmest thanks to all that have served and are still serving! May they stay safe while in service and those that have served, THANK YOU!!!!
