I usally don't use these sorts of things one because I've never seen one of these before & although I have a disabled tag for the rear view mirror I don't like to use it I feel that there are far worse off people who need it than I.*

I feel/felt the same way.I never applied for my VA pension knowing there were others who needed it more than I.Now nearing retirement I will accept it

I took the disability the VA gave me, never did spend any of just kept stashing it in the bank figuring that when I get old that I might need it to pay for the old folks home if I shouldn't be able to take care of myself. When I got hitched to the wife I figure it would do the same or if my time came it would pay for the BBQ for the ashes & give her a little something for putting up with the BS of my challenge. Didn't expect to do as well as we did & now over the past 40 years or so it's added up to one hell of a retirement helper. I wish other Vets would have done this if they could have, it's disheartening to see Vets that servered and are living with disabilities and on the streets.*
