Put the 3200 rpm spring in a buddies truck this weekend... ... . wasn't quite sure about the throttle lever orientation ... ... ... . top hat went flying into three pieces :--) , and the full load screw bottomed out in the pump



I would have been sick to my stomach if it had not been for this forum. Everything i needed to know was right here, posted by members.



Never met any of you, but most of you were with me all day in the shop yesterday

That is why I tell everyone I talk to with a Cummins Dodge the $35 a year is a small price to pay for any and all information you will ever need about these trucks.



Glad you got it fixed back up. I agree this is a great bunch.

The first fix I had to get from them paid my membership for several years Oo.

The guys I mention in the post on Getrag are new to Dodge and Cummins but no one told them about TDR. Had they been members, they would have known about the extra qt of oil. As it is, they will spend the cost of membership, at least twenty times over on the breakdown.



I have told countless people about TDR. Often they look at me like 'who do you think your are, can't you see the shine on my truck? Do I look like I need any advise from anyone?' They usually soften a bit when they realize that I am not selling anything, just offering advise.



Breaks my heart to hear of the problems like those guys are dealing with on the Getrag. Talk about sick to the stomach.



And shiny don't mean it won't break down, nor that you will get a good deal at the dealership. In fact, generally dealerships don't mention TDR.

Yeah, most dealerships dont think anyone knows more than they do. How dare you try to offer advice. But there are exceptions.
