I just wanted to thank PowerWagon, and all the others. I have been hanging around now for some time. I have learned a lot and it has really helped me to enjoy my cummins ownership. I have the PowerWagons and I finally decided that I needed a timing change due to the smoke. So I advanced my timing about the thickness of a penny. What a difference, I have a lot less smoke, my heat seems to come on a little sooner, and I have a little less boost, but it seems that the truck is faster and that it uses the boost instead of just boosting like crazy and smoking. I was one of those people that thought that boost was power end of story but I'm starting to understand that there is a lot more than meets the eye, if you know what I mean. I can still make 30lbs of boost with a hard pull, I will be giving off a haze but not a fog of smoke. I wish I knew about where I was on power but all I know is with 300K she still moves on and is fun to drive. Thanks again to all who contribute here.
