Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I inherited my fathers 1989 D-350 regular cab, 2WD, Cummins Turbo diesel with 727 TF back in 2000, currently it has 238,000 miles on it. He used to tow trailers all the time with it, and the only upgrade that has been done to it was a rear air bag system (I am still working on installing the air compressor and dash gages) and a shift kit put in the transmission to increase fluid flow. I think that worked because even though I have the optional trans fan on it, I have never heard it come on except when I jumped the circuit. I just bought a 27 TT and joined TDR to see if I could get some good tips. After reading some back posts, I decided to upgrade the radiator to the cross flow based on the information you provided. I was able to purchase the parts needed from some of the same vendors mentioned in the posts.
It was nice to be able to complete the job with confidence that it has been done before and it worked.
Whatever project I decide to do next I will look forward to drawing on the experience of a good knowledgeable group of people.
