On behalf of the Great Lakes Turbo Diesel Registry, I want to extend a very warm "Thank You" to Peter & family at South Bend Clutch, for hosting a really great, fun-filled, open house event.

It was a valuable learning experience for me, and a few others, getting to see how and where our clutches are made, how they work, what makes one kind better than another, or stronger, etc.

Peter is proud of his shop, and justifiably so, the quality and organization is evident everywhere you look. But then again, it's not the shop that makes for such a great product, it's Peter that makes the difference, with his technical knowledge and his excellent customer philosophy.

Thanks for the great pictures, Doc, I'll be bringing a party strobe light and duct tape to our next event.

Peter, the man!

Makes me proud to see some of the fine folks of the GLTDR gathering for mouth watering wings and camaraderie! It's not surprising to me at all to get such fine hospitality from the guys at SBC. But just the same, thanks Peter, Woody and Andy. Wally, it was nice to meet you, wish we could have yapped more.

I knew it would be a great time because all of you are such great people. I don't think that I will be speaking for myself here, Tom, your and your son are a real true class act! It is so refreshing to meet and get to know people such as the two of you. Nothing but kind words, big smiles and true sincerity come from the two of you. It is people like you that make me jump up Monday morning wanting to start the new week. I must say that Jason and his father are right on your tails with the companionship that they have with each other. What a pleasure to see. I only hope that my sons and I are as good of friends and have the same interests that I saw displayed this weekend. All of you are welcome in my doors anytime.



Again, I want to thank all of you for coming this weekend.
