Mercedes help

Just wanted to say thanks to TDR and to the 2 TN members and one San Diego member that allowed me to bend their ear while on a road trip from LA to Nashville and back in 5 days towing my 38 foot 5th wheel toy hauler.

About an hour prior to hooking up in Nashville for the return trip I lost my clutch. Thanks goodness I wasn't in the middle of nowhere pulling a 16k pound trailer. A few quick calls to some TDR members as well as my uncle, a gen 1 owner and TDR member, confirmed my gut that it was the master cylinder/slave cylinder. Only problem... there wasn't one in Nashville. Closest one was in Clarksville, about 45 miles north of my location at the time. Just caught the parts guy heading out the door when I called and he was nice enough to reboot his computer, go lay his hands on the part and after paying with my credit card he gave it to the sales dept until my ex-wife (she was nice enough to come to my rescue) and my son drove up to pick up the part. Meanwhile I pulled the old one and made ready to install the new one. I did start sweating after installing the new set up aa I still had no clutch, but as I needed to move the truck for the night, after cringing and cranking in gear, the clutch slowly came back. Guess I should have asked about this procedure while I had the members on the phone, as it's a sealed system with no bleeding capability.

4000 miles in 4 days, truck ran great, need to start saving up for water injection to get the EGTs down.

I LOVE MY TRUCK and TDR

Thanks to all!!!
