Have learned a lot from TDR and its membership over the past 6 years. Helped me understand if not solve a pressing problem on many occasions.



Bought 2008 6. 7 new, my first diesel. It was quite the experience from the get go - the simply drive it CD... . Have never needed to know more about any vehicle... the time spent attempting to master all the nuances, satisfaction from having done most of them.



Well, the big girl got traded in yesterday. Will miss some aspects, others... not so much.



Anyway, TDR has been a great resource.

I used to have the #1 issue and all the rest of TDRs in the shop, unfortunatly 5 years ago I had a fire and lost those early issues. LOTS of reference material over the years that have saved me many dollars.

My ex-SIL bought one in 08, I was impressed with it. Good luck, if its as reliable as my Toyota's, it will last you a long time.

complaints so far - only 2 attachment points per license plate, gas tank is only 19 gallons limits range... . NO CELS, nada. turn the key and go - what a concept... . WHOOHOO!!! ok - miss the TQ of the 6. 7.

We'll see if Toyota adopts the Cummins diesel in their Tundra.
