Update on July 15th show and shine,July 16th Rally

LSR: BOMBvoy to BONNEVILLE

I had a blast, it was great to finally put faces with the names I know online, and to see a bunch of really great trucks ! Thanks to all who made it possible !
I was lucky enough to grab a test ride in Stack'd N' Jack'd... totally AWESOME rig, has to be seen, heard and felt to be believed... Muncie has it's own version of HVAC...
But I would be hard pressed to pick out a favorite truck from the group, everyone had some really great mods on their trucks, so many different ways to equip our rides !

It was loads of fun! We may have the beginnings of a 12-step recovery program for 12V BOMBaholics:

1. Install bigger injectors
2. Install moderate torque plate
3. Install at least a 4" exhaust system; dual 5"
is better
4. Install huge injectors
5. Install radical torque plate
6. Install hotter turbo
7. Install bigger, thicker injector lines
8. Change fuel filter often
9. Design and install a dynamic, electronically-
controlled 'torque plate' and custom ECM
10. Design and install a pump timing adjuster and
reprogram the ECM
11. Toss the P7100 and install a gear-driven fuel
pump, and design and install a common-rail fuel
injection system with a new custom ECM
12. Add nitrous and propane and re-program the ECM

At the end of this program, you should be flowing at least 500 CCs of fuel, enough to handily walk away from any overvalved BOMBer. #ad
#ad

Should this recovery program fail, you can try the C8. 3 program, or go right on to the N14 program. #ad

Thanks Briar Hopper, your rig was gorgeous just the same, all of them- even the deer modified Tinker Tank. Tom, I want a pic of us by our rigs BTW. The day was fantastic, the turnout was unreal. Next year is already being planned, we'll take the good things from this one and hopefully move them to the Gaston track next year for a truck pull. GLTDR signed 6 new members (correct me if I am wrong Doc) and made many new friends. Truckman and I witnessed the falling of the rings in 3 or 4 rigs. (silencer rings) Pitts and I installed Scotty air for him. Some of the guys boxed their overvalved rigs and got bombitis, donning that infamous "holy ****" grin #ad
Truckman realized that the BFG's had too much tread and "shaved" some rubber on the pavement (pics to follow soon). There were a few non-Cummins/non-Dodge people stopping, pointing, looking. One man said he was thinking of buying one and this helped. We made a huge impression on the Snap-on rep and he will join us in our chats. Maybe we can convince him to drop an 8. 3 in that Hummer of his. Gene- I want to thank you for all of your sacrifices in getting all of that product to the rally, Sheryl glad you came to give prices and a pretty face to that sweet voice of yours. And I always live a product that contributes to my laziness. The best thing is that in two weeks we get to do it AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again to the people at Daves diesel in Muncie and also to eric that was a really fun event learned a lot and got to see a lot of interesting trucks, thanks again for a great time!!!!!

Muncie was a BLAST! I'm working on updating our web page with a summary and pics. I hope to have it up by tuesday (I'm waiting for pictures and statistics). Eric did a GREAT #ad
job organizing the event and Dave's Diesel did a GREAT #ad
job hosting it! Dave's is a great shop and if you need work anywhere near Muncie on your fuel system or engine to give them a call. They were friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and open. We had an almost 2 hour tech session with one of the owners and one of the techs where they ran a P7100 pump on a stand and answered all of our questions. As Eric said, in less than 2 weeks we get to do it all over again in Hell #ad
!!!

Thanks to Daves Diesel for the great event. The burgers got my seal of approval #ad
. I would say thanks to stacked n jacked, but his head is too big already. Found out one little tidbit, adding a plate before injectors is BAD, and sliding the stock plate. The pressures are too high and kills the pump. Im movin my plate back to stock as soon as I can. It was realy nice meating everybody for the first time except McBride, already met him. The only problems of the event was the heat, the Tinker's Deer Slayer, and my truck was not there, the body shop says 2 more hours of work. Doc, leave the bumper the way it is, it might scare off the deer. Hope you put amsoil in before the trip, that hood might be kind of hard to open to change it.

Steve, you used "" on the deer saga thread. Did you forget which forum you were in??

Nice deer, Doc, it really kicked in my Good 'ol Boy reflexes, I almost dove for the gun safe behind me to grab my big Remington 7MM Magnum. Lucky the safe was locked, or you'd owe me a new 'puter.
