Thankyou Holset & Turbo Auto Diesel (Phoenix)

I want to say thankyou to Mark at Holset and Ken at Turbo Auto Diesel..... . I was R&Ding different setups to see how much power we can add and still use it to tow. I did not want the Lag many have experienced. After talking with Ken he custom built a HX40. I loved it. . Great boost, Very Quick response, lower smoke and EGT's. It was perfect until ... . BOOOOM. I am not sure of the boost levels I was obtaining for at the time I had a 40 psi gauge and it would wrap around past the lettering and by then I was just hanging on!. when it failed I was going thru the gears and had the waste gate turned back to 40-45psi. Well it was a Blade failure most likely a faulty casting and/ Fatigue. Holset inspected the damage and we all exchanged information on possible improvements. So Ken built me another of the Bombed HX40's... With a little change or two And I have been testing for about two weeks... It works great. I am going to talk to Ken about a different mod for the manual only or below 375-400hp trucks. With alittle luck there will be a couple more options out for us Towing Bombers.



It is great getting the personal attention / Customer service that Holset and TAD gave me and they really seem to care that we get the turbo setup that we want.
