2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission That awesome FPS sound! not.

Anybody else notice how a PS idling next to a Cummins sounds just almost exactly like a Honda next to a Harley?



Hain't found none to race either. They better take advantage of me now--pre bomb.



Even if the phord was faster, stronger, more fuel efficient, cheaper, and only half as ugly (I like the old ones)---I don't think I could put up with that nasal wheeziness.



But then I don't suppose everybody else drops the windows when driving through tunnels.

I just finished off my 4" exhaust with some stuff from Rip Rook, including his Allied muffler. I like it! Not obnoxiously loud, but nice.

I just smile when I hear one of the new ones try to fire. Ijust hit the starter on the cummins and it fires. The AFE mega cannon gives you a nice whistle from the turbo. Jeff

I had a straight piped P<small>o</small>S pass me this weekend. The driver purposely gave it a little extra fual as he went by me. I hope it was just a test pipe while the exhaust is getting fixed. I thought the <em>cackle</em> sounded bad, but that straight pipe was awful.



The only complaints I have with my straight pipe is the 2k drone and overall <big>loud</big>. The usual complaint from others is the <big><b>loud</b></big>

i liked my straight pipe at higher rpms, but down low it sounded kinda bad (got caught with it though). i've heard two powerstrokes with straight pipes (one from an ambulance/transporter ) horrible sounding, just horrible

Ditto JK & WP... . love being able to simply turn the key and my rig fires up...

An old flame of mine drove an '02 Stroke. . (maybe that's why he's an old flame )..... and what a picky truck! If the truck wasn't in park JUST right, couldn't get key out, key in... etc.

Then he cut off the muffler in an effort to compete with my superior truck species..... What a laugh! Just emphasized the wheeziness... I guess he had truck envy!

I am sorry but there is nothing better sounding than a cummins 12v going through the gears straight piped (5 speed of course). PSD just don't come close, neighbor has one and sounds nasty when he leaves, not near as sweet as mine. My thoughts anyways
