I got a warped rotor, how can I tell which side it is on? I begins to pulse at the exit of the freeway, then harder braking goes away.

 What would be the best rotors to install? Or, would turning the rotors work? Thanks for any input, yeah I know there has been other forums:eek:, however I could not find the best recommendation/product to use.

Thanks everyone, the responses to my other questions:-{}. TDR/1st Gen folks always yield excellent information:D

If you have OEM rotors then by all means first choice is turning as the quality level of older parts will be better. ;)

If you can't turn them, then don't buy cheap Chinese crap rotors which means you will most likely have to order and wait as most places only stock the cheap stuff.

At least that was my experience.

I saw a post about some of the best pads coming from EBC. I don't run them myself, but I am going to look at them for rotors + yellow pads (green if you want less dust) when I need brakes. EBC Brakes - Brakes for Cars, Motorcycles, Trucks and SUV

I would be weary about cracking in the both slotted + drilled rotors. (Slotted only should be fine. ) Especially if you're towing. However, you'll probably go through pads quicker if you use a slotted rotor with OEM pads.

I have been using a frozen rotor on all the brake jobs I have been doing they are hard and resist warping Google frozen rotors ans read about them

Cryogenically treated. Hmmm. It supposedly stabilizes the structure.

The prices look pretty 'typical'.

Jim do you have any specifics for durability?

I have been running them for 4 yrs and have not had a problem also all the cust that I have installed them on are very happy with them some of my cust pull very large trailers without an engine brake
