the blue truck rocks

monday was the first day for the new truck at work

the chevy was sold on wedsday to a welding outfit which let me have free run of there steel & equipment to make brackets to mount stuff

Im perticularly proud of the waste oil barrel mounting bracket Im getting better in my old age

it is a bit strange getting used to things being in diferent places

I had the chevy for 8 years & loved it Im glad I found it a good home their going to paint it & take good care of it

they let me sandblast my compressor & I repainted it flat black like I typed before Im gona do the wheels front grille & bumper & the welder flat black it will look nice

this thing gets way better milage than the chevy its like driving a car as far as fuel use goes

it is heavier & un mistakably truck like to drive

the more I use it the more I like it

the front bottom of the tool boxes have a few stone chips from the front tires so I got some alum diamond plate Im gona put sown there which will also look good
