Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) The clutch?

I will soon install 275's to go along with my VA PNP. I am currently tring to prepare myself just in case the clutch starts to slip. Before you answer, I can see myself possibly going to DDII's and Edge comp at some point. I want to do this right the first time. Also, what are the pro's and con's of each.
