I thought that was PROPRIATARY infomation... ... TST got slapped for trying.

I thought the problem was using proprietary software to program the chip and using propriety information acquired as an employee. Many companies have their employees sign agreements that prohibit such things.



If one were to reverse engineer the chip, there would't be a problem unless it was patented or some such.



Getting old and the memeory gets a little muddled now and then.
