My Dodge Ram 1997 12 valve 4x4 headlights, fog lights, and cab display lights are flickering while driving with my lights on of course and for some crazy reason I can't figure out what is causing it any pointers anyone?
My guess would be that your alternator is cutting in and out. The voltmeter in the dash isn’t responsive enough to give you good information on this. Put an external voltmeter on the battery terminals and monitor what is happening in regard to charging.
Actually, sticking one of those voltmeters that plugs into your power outlet or cigarette lighter socket should give you good information as you drive. I see them for sale cheap.
