I have run into a problem with no power shortly after start up. Like it is not getting fuel. Runs fine at idle but falls on its face when I pull out the drive. Have driven it as far as two miles and it never works out. I pull to the side of the road, shut it down, restart, and everything is just fine and dandy. Each time the air temp. has been below 32. As low as 5. Does it with a long or short warm-up. Is this the start of the dreaded lift pump problem?

Do you have gauges? if not check your fuel pressure, and I would check for codes, may be the even more dreaded dead pedal. Hope its just the lp.

Usually when it gets to this point, check the fuel pressure & the fuel filter. Alot of people don't keep up with them. I change mine at 5,000 miles, but probably wouldn't go more than 10,000 on the filter.
