Best dyno run with my setup: 485 hp 1026. 5 ft lbs.
Best dyno run with the Sticks EZ piggy backed on jumper setting 3: 520 hp 1058 ft lbs.
Oo. Oo.
I gotta say I am impressed, I didnt think that box could add that much !!!

Jeff, it looks like you gained 35hp and 32 lb-ft. Look closely at those numbers. What rpm were your peak numbers coming? It is VERY unusual to gain more hp than tq on our diesels because of the low rpm range. In fact, at 2626 rpm, you should have a 2:1, tq:hp ratio.
Your numbers tell me that you gained quite a bit of tq in the upper rpm range-- much more than a mere 32 lb-ft. If for example, your hp peak occurred at 3000 rpm, then your torque increase at peak hp is closer to 50lb-ft.
So now *I* would ask myself why I increased torque in the upper rpm range, and only had a paltry 32 lb-ft down low?
I would not be so quick to consider your stack a "success", per se. 32lb-ft on a truck that's already over 1000 lb-ft is hardly a considerable improvement.
With stg 3 injectors, I would say that a very MODEST timing box is what you want, if anything at all. The DDTTPM is about the only thing I would even consider.
Your ratio of hp to tq gains tells me you are borderline on excessive timing. Remember that your injectors are acting as a slight timing advance.
Remember too, that as your injectors wear and the pop-off pressure drops, that will also have the effect of advancing timing.
I would not consider a $400+ timing box worth it for a mere 35hp/32 lb-ft.
If I were at your stage in the bombing game, I would check out a water or water/methanol injection system first-- especially here in the high and dry air.
Sorry I couldn't make it down to dyno with you guys!!!! I was previously committed to doing some work at our church, and I had a certain DT profab product to install

. Did you guys show those PSDs just what our lowly little 6-bangers can do??
