here i was driving down the road at late at night and i hear this tick tick noise. so i was planning on stopping to get something to drink so i shut the truck off and opened the hood to see low and behold the fan has spun itself off the pulley. It had the threads on the pulley all messed up so i had to take the fan off which required pulling the shroud up a little ways. so i threw the fan in the back and was on the road again. Truck ran the same temp it always does. needless to say it only ruined the bolt that hold the pulley on, i filed the threads to work again and it didnt even put a dent in the radiatior. i was lucky. so watch out for the fan.

p. s it isnt coming off again i green locktited it to the pulley... stupid fan!!
