If people didn't buy em, we couldn't out run em! :D :-laf

BTW FATCAT, how do you like that Kubota in your sig? I mow, dig, move stuff, and four-wheel  with a 01 BX2200 with 780 hours...

Been a good LITTLE machine for all the hell I give it

Doug,

Perhaps this may help some. I have yet to buy a "new" vehicle that didn't have to spend some time back in the shop to fix a manufacturing "oops". However, all have run great once the initial trouble was resolved. I drive all my vehicles beyond the 200,000 mile mark. Good luck getting your truck back soon and a long uneventful ownership.

If they would stop making the same mistake of buying Furds they wouldnt have that prob

Awww ... the mighty little BX23 works great!!! I just received a new tooth bar from Markham welding and can't wait to put it on this weekend. I've only got 93 hours on mine so it is still "new" to me. This thing has saved my back many times over moving rocks around and building my rock wall. I just pulled a 800+ lb. rock out of the ground this past weekend, that little backhoe has a lot of power. :D

"Sorry about your bad luck. It really sucks to have a new truck die on you on your ride home. "

UMMmmmm - well, actually, it seems to be pretty COMMON if the sticker on the front sez "FORD"! :-laf :-laf :-laf

Yeah I hate to see this,I think Ford builds a good truck, but the 6. 0 is junk,to bad they had to ruin a good thing.

I really liked the 7. 3 it is to bad it is gone. .

Ya know I really hate to see this happen to anyone. It's a shame, cause these guys are hard working people just like the rest of us. It's just a shame that 6. 0 is such a piece of junk.

Well they are dedicated you got to give them that.

That could of been me if I would have never got a 2000,glad I did. .

One of the most informative posts was when the salesman called to say they thought the problem was that the wastegate wasn't closing. WTF? So if the wastegate doesn't close, the truck will drag you through a traffic light and not let you stop. And I thought they opened to release excess pressure. Learn something new every day. :-laf

I was already laughing my arse off while reading that thread, but this last post sent me over the top:

"I have an interesting "new truck" experience, too. I have an F450 6. 0 on order, and received my first recall notice Saturday. The truck hasn't even been delivered to the dealer yet! "

This is too funny!! :D
