the fuel tank options

Did Dodge ever offer a large fuel tank for Gen-2. In Gen-3 the, you could get a 43 gallon tank with the trailer towing package

Never heard of a 43 gal fuel tank on a third gen with camper package maybe one of their chassis cab models. However on the 2 nd gens no largest stock tank was 35 gallons. There are some aftermarket companies that make replacement tanks that are 50 ish gallons transfer flow and aero tank did for sure

I put 40 gal in my 2004 4 door 8ft box 1 day -- Then I went and got the build sheet for my truck. It lists a 35 gal tank. It lists under the options "Trailer Tow Group and Additional Gallons of Diesel Fuel"

Ive never heard of a 43 gal for 3rd gens. 35 on long box and 52 on C&C. best bet is an aftermarket replacement or a box tank. My 08 has a 75 gal in the front of the box and the stock 35 below. I have all the factory sales brochures from 03 til 18 and there is no mention of any 43 gal tank.

My brother has the Gen-2, I have the Gen-3 and He is the one looking for more fuel. This last weekend we had both the truck at my house. we slid under both of the trucks to take measurements on both the tanks and they were not the same. Mine was noticeably bigger. Fatter and a bit longer.
