Love watching those cars run at the NHRA events. The current world record holder in Super Stock is a Buick Grand National owned by John Gallina and powered by a V6. He is running either 8. 0s or 8 teens I can't remember which. I get tired of watching all of the front wheel drive converted to rear wheel drive cars race. It's nice to watch the cars in the original configuration run. I've watched Bucky race for years.

I looked it up. John Gallina ran a 8. 17 at 170+ mph to set the record of the worlds fastest Super Stock and his wife Marka also does very well in the stock class with an 89 Pontiac Trans Am also powered by a Turbocharged Buick V6. She runs 10. 80s. They have some fast cars but they sure don't sound like Bucky's car going down the track.
