Been driving myself crazy looking for replacement light bulbs for my overhead trip computer back lights
They are smaller that the AC/Heat controls backlight bulbs and not even close to dash light bulbs. Went the dealer, couldn't find them ,searched the internet no results, searched TDR posts, no luck.
So anyone have any idea where to get them?

Post a picture of the bulb and area it's in. Any numbers or markings on the bulb or base? Not clear on the replaceable comment, not soldered on? Do you have room for a LED and a resistor to convert it to LED?

Look at a T5 or #74 bulb. These are a miniature wedge base bulb. Like a #193 or #168 but smaller. Some have a base attached to them. Hope this helps in the hunt for a bulb.

Well with hours of searching I came up with a part number that the bulb looks right it is a Lucus LLB286TFB. problem is can't find any on the internet in the USA.
I can't be the first guy on TDR to be looking for these.

Well the t-3 bulbs came, not a great fit, but at this they work. I'm keeping the old bulbs for the sockets, might try transplanting the led bulbs from the extra t-3 bulbs. Here is some pictures.
Someone asked in another thread how to take down the overhead console, I pointed out one of the two screws that hold it up, careful the light covers, lift up on the with a very small screw driver.
