Way to go Mark! Was the Dyno done in Meridian ID? I've wanted to dyno mine for quite a while but things just don't seem to work out. Since I've been in yours it gives me an idea of how mine will run. BTW how about torque - what were those #'s.

Happy trails

Bob:)

yes, that was Meridian, Idaho. The guy got me real good on the cost, too. I don't suggest going there for just a couple runs.

I don't have torque numbers, since we didn't have the engine speed monitor set up.

No, my 93 has no lockup.

The converter is now so loose acting that at WOT it changes very little speed between start of the run and end. Probably 400 rpm or so. It should be peaking at about 2750-2800 before the governor cuts it off all the way.

Maaarrrrk!!!!

Damn!

214 HP! Good work. No torque numbers out of that dyno??

Street people just don't get the whole picture!!

It is? I wasn't competing...

Now, if I had a manual or even a good converter. . . would be worth at least 10 to 20 HP.

Please note, my truck produces only a slight haze of smoke and a short light puff under certain conditions if you nail it hard.

I've seen psd's and ISB's smoke more and be less than highly modified.

Since the fuel screw is only turned up 1-2 turns from where it was sealed at stock, I would assume cranking it would make quite a difference.

Oooops!

Mark,

Didn't mean to short you on the HP number.

I still think should try those injectors... What are they called...

Ah, "Ol' Power Wagons" or the "Prince of Power Wagons".

I had to recycle this one just once.

HAHAHHHHAHAHA...

Good one...

Prince of Dark Power Wagons...

Dark Prince of Power

ahhhh... this is going a bad direction... I think I'll bail now :D

Hey, this reminds me... You're in the Northwest here... You should be part of NW Bombers...

My truck's pretty mild, actually.

I make a total of aobut 20-22 psi boost, I believe (I have no boost gauge), and doesn't smoke. I need a better converter something awful. If you watch the video, you can hear the engine rev when I hit the pedal... It needs to be held back to use the torque more effectively.

Hi, Why join NWB when theres great people and knowlage here?

Also your making about 26# boost for 217hp/rw's.

Come on, Buy a tac/boost gauge. Spend the kids inheritance.

Can't take it with you. lol:p

My wastegate is set to begin opening at 18-20 psi.

I don't expect it makes much more than that.

The HP/boost rules don't apply uniformly to wastegated systems.

As far as the tach, boost gauge, pyro, etc, go, I'll get them when I got the $$$. I don't right now.

Very little diff between waste gated turbo boost/hp figs.

I think if you put a gauge on temp. must have one in shop tool box somewhere [5 min job] and take it for a quick run you might be surprised. :)

Nice numbers PW, if it helps mine with 218hp was at 650 lb/ft torque, though on a different brand of dyno.

What gets me is you are doing this without smoke! Your burnout video proves that, 99% of that smoke was from your tires!

My lucas injectors are a lot dirtier than what I saw with yours. I'm running a Flo-Pro muffler and 16cm2 turbo housing - any idea how big of power difference is the 12cm2 turbo housing you are running? What about the straight exhaust you are running vs the muffler I am running?

Thanks, great numbers, nice clean truck.
