I would just like to say hello to all of you folks out there. Just a little about my self. I'm Military stationed in Goldsboro NC. USAF to be exact. I was a fire fighter for the military until about 2 years ago. I am currently working with computers. This is my first Dodge, and first Diesel. I'm from a GM Family and have never owned anything other then GM's up until yesterday.

When I started looking for a newer truck, I wanted something 4x4 & diesel. GM was out with their IFS junk, and I couldn't afford a PSD. I was weighing the Fords & Dodges because of the chassis (4x4 straight axle). I opted for Diesel due to the longitivity of the engine.

I've driven the heavy duty chassis prior to Military when I drove wreckers. Although they were all Fords & the PSD's, I knew that Dodge was an excellent option.

I'm excited to get into the Diesel world. These engines have always impressed me, thus I own one now. As soon as I get plates on this bugger I'll be driving it and parking the Blazer.

I hope I don't ask too many stupid questions or repetitive ones. I'll do my best to search other posts before asking a question that I'm sure has been asked numerous times before. Please be patient with me, I'm new at this game.

I've used other threads, mostly at www.coloradok5.com & www.off-road.com/chevy. This is a new forum type for me and may take a few post to get used to this.

Thanks in advance for any help that you may be able to offer. I'm looking forward to learning as well as putting in any information that I can offer.

Thanks,

Corey

Corey, glad you're here. I too am an ex-bowtie owner, for several years I thought that GM was the only one to make vehicles. Now all I can say is after I bought my first Cummins diesel Ram , theres been one on the property ever since. I can't say that they have been trouble free but with the help of the guys here it deffinetly makes things alot easier. Watch out for the B. O. M. B. bug, It's easy to get bit . Happy Rammin'
