A TDR twist to the Legendary Poem
'Twas the night before Christmas
And all throughout the land
The Ram pickup trucks were rolling
In a giant caravan.
At the head of this Fleet
Was the legendary ‘ole Saint Nick
With his Cummins Turbo Diesel
Just doin’ the trick.
Santa’s fleet was exclusive
He had the 2022 truck.
If you’ve been on a waiting list
Now you know why no luck.
Santa says the ’22 is comfortable,
Quiet, roomy and modern too.
(I’d just like to take delivery of one
I’ve been saving up since 2002).
The weather outside was cold
And there was nearly a foot of snow
But old Santa knew
The Christmas load had to GO.
As the fleet made its way
From the North to our town
You could hear the mighty Diesels
It was a wonderful sound.
Soon the gifts would arrive
And the children would wake
To a very special Christmas
That Ram and Cummins helped make.
As the presents were opened
And holiday Thanks being said
Through the window I saw
Santa in his Turbo Diesel sled.
So I hurried to the door
Out of breath and my heart-a-beating
To get some insight on my truck?
Not really sure WHAT I was thinking.
As I stepped out of the driveway
Can you imagine my surprise?
A Christmas Edition Ram Turbo Diesel
in red and green was before my eyes.
I called for my family and children
“Come outside and share my view”
Polished and shining in the winter sun
It was mine and it was brand new.
Then I paused to give thanks
For a special Holiday year
My family, my health and my truck
All the things we hold dear.
As I turned to my family
With a thankful smile on my face
I thought I heard Santa’s Ram truck
With its mighty Cummins setting the pace.
I looked to the North
And I could just barely hear
Santa’s jolly old voice:
“MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL! AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!”
