Diesel Nationals

May Madness sled pulling

June 24-25

DHRA feels like the new location is great. Although IRP made almost 8,000 people look very little, we expected that. As we journey back to IRP we have made one MAJOR improvement: 3 gates!

Other changes are: the only people that are allowed golf carts, atv's, utility vehicles, scooters, etc. are the racers and pullers. Thanks to a couple of people that abused the privlege, NHRA has asked us to enforce their rule on this subject. Here is a run down of what's going on, and keep your eyes on our website: http://www.dhraonline.com/?GROUP=series&PAGE=natirp

Events for the weekend include:

DieselPower! Sled Pulling Series

  • Work Stock
  • Street Diesel
  • Super Street
  • Modified

OPEN Test n Tune on the track!

DHRA Pro Diesel Series

  • ET Brackets
  • Quick Diesel 12. 0 Index
  • Pro Street
  • Exhibition vehicles

Please refer to the DHRA rulebook (on website) for rules. Your entry fee includes a DHRA membership this year!

GLTDR is hosting a Show-n-Shine and burnout contest-categories to be announced

Diesel Performance Motorsports will have a dyno competition for all motor and open classes

*****New for 2006-Do My Diesel***** Someone's going home with a whole new truck! For details-check this link: http://www.dhraonline.com/?GROUP=series&PAGE=natirpdomydiesel

Very preliminary, may not happen, but we are working hard to make it happen.

Although the DHRA does not condone or dimiss the after hours entertainment, We were told last year if someone would let the local police dept know this would be happening the would shut the street down for us. This may be better handled by a local from plainsfeild that may know or have contacts to make this happen so no partys are held responibole.
