Oh mah gawd. What do you get when you mix booze , grillin ' , friends , stacks , fireworks , and a Holeshotholset? It hurts. The food rocked drinks went back and alot ... ... . ALOT of fireworks went off. (I think we took over the main show which bit it because of cloud cover) Whistlers , smoke bombs, etc down stacks rock. Oh and between the burgers , dogs , bratwurst , chicken , kabobs , corn , and shrooms it was more like a smokefest gone great! Hiccups are tough on the ol noodle. I am still going to work on drinking a glass up side down. BIG Double D's "ICED TEA" was un believable. Great to see everyone! George , wheaties , sam , Big Double D , Torque , breaks , english gents , father A , and the list goes on.

This happens every year at the church, it started out 4 years ago with maybe 6 people and has grown into probably 100+...



Do you think we caused the cloud cover to ruin the real fireworks???



Sorry had to leave so quick, the little guy was gettin real cranky and needed to go to bed. Next year, BABYSITTER!!!!!



How did you make out w/ Father Anthony's daughters car?? Did Brian "breakanything"?? Did HoleShot tweak the injector pump??

WOW round two officially ended. Holeshot just left in a cloud of soot ..... beetle soot that is. Round two started last night with more fireworks (Some explosive some just mundane) and massive quantities of beer , captains , JD , and kabobs , burgers , dogs , corn , and killer salsa (Not to mention the "Hint of lime" ) that finaly went inside at 3:00~ish A. M #ad


Soooo if for any reason anyone here sees a guy flyin' down the road on a scooter with flip flops burning and the scooter itself completely engulfed in an array of fire and sparks , whistlers , crackers ... ... It would be none other than HoleshotHolset himself.

Yeparoo It was a good week end ... . first long weekend in what like a year? sunday I had major recoup to do and all mental functions had to perform a scandisk kinda thing. Too bad now we have what another year before we have another long weekend?

Saturday was a crazy night for me too.



1st was a wedding and I had my driver, so I got good and primed for the main event.



2nd (main event) a realllly good party in the middle of a field off a back road. When we pulled in I was like .



There were so many cars and trucks it was like you were pulling into the fairgrounds on Demo-derby night.



We get out and and follow the music through the woods. Bout 200 yards later in a clearing I'm standing in the middle of a brew fest complete with sand volleyball courts, pits in the ground with Iced kegs and about 400 people.



Twas a good time. There were sooooo many girls running around I couldn't keep up. My neck was getting sore from turing my head so much.



A few hours and a few kegstands later and I was good to go.



went home, prayed to the porcelin god a few times and slithered into bed. :{

Whooo Hooo! I knew this tread would be here and kickin when I checked in on a Monday Afternoon! Yawwwwwwn... ... errg..... where did the weekend go?



Well the big production fireworks were a big disappointment such as they were, hidden in the ground fog, "Ooooh, a pink cloud... . BOOM..... ahhhh, a green cloud... . BOOM... ", but the food and 'consumer rated' fireworks sure made up for it. I haven't seen so much good food in one place in a long time!! What a feast!!! It was a lot of fun watching the biggest kid (whose initials are TMTT) setting off the works! And thank you Tim and Amy for your hospitality!!!



Who would have thought that fireworks in the stacks would sound like that? Plus the air horn wars.....



... last but not least, helping the preacher's daughter (I didn't know that!) get her car started.

Wheaties , We went 4 rount 2's fireworks friday A. M in the VW! What a hoot wheelin and dealin in fireworks with a hangover!! Man that was a great party!! Look we need some excuses to throw a big one sometime soon!! I know how 'bout we celebrate the anneversary of the paperclip!!!!

in july we got . . the 20th is waterfest (im racing my tdi vw ) 24th is a thursday night in boonville ny is bigrigs pull, and 27th of july is capital maryland diesel drags , and the 31s is a thursday at 7pm the ulster county fair in ny is truck pulls hehe,,,,,, and in august we got 9th is norwich ny big rigs pull the 10th is quaker city ohio diesel drags, 31 is fonda ny big rig pulls... any body doing any of them?

my dodeg is out of teh garage just have to paint engine,do front main seal, change rear transfer case yoke, and hook up the intercooler and i'll be drivin heheh. . vw i have to assemble engine , change injector nozzles and drop it in my old stacked pickup, and debate a twin setup . . needto be done with it by the 20th ha one week looks liek stock compression pistons,stock cam and one turbo... oh wel lgot to compromise some where haha

ha tool man waterfest is the largest watercooled vw show in the US i race there every year etc... its at englishtown this year and last year... . as for the dates who is interested in going to some of them i know a few of you are planning on a few of the events . . i'm going to all of them except maybe the boonville pulls any how lets figure something out...
