Sherry,

You sound like just the right kind of gal! Welcome to the TDR!!

Tim's right, this isn't exactly the boonies, but you can see them from here. We live on the edge of suburbia, the kind of country that the city folk like to escape to. And since the train comes up the coast, and the coast is really nice, they are willing to come quite a ways to escape. As a result, we have a surplus of them, and any number of idiots that want to be just like them. It gets pretty monotonous and we are starved for anyone who can be genuine.

Inquiring minds want to know what it's like in your neck of the woods.

There is an antique truck show that I haveto go to on the 10th(?) of August (sunday). You guys are invited to attend. Lots of old cummins powred stuff averaging 180 horse power. Lots of diesel smoke, food & drink. Or maybe we should do something on the water. Believe me I have nothing against HOOTERS but the boating season is too short and maybe we should save HOOTERS or a similar wonderful establishment for a cooler day.

Water doesn't matter to me I trailer my boat almost everywhere. Figure out where everybody is and meet in the middle. Fro retton Point in RI. The truck show is in Hudson, MA at the Hudson Elks Park. 495 north to route 62, don't remember the exit number. At bottom of ramp go right and follow into Hudson center. Go about on third of the way around the rotary and go towards the McDonalds. Just past the McD's bear right and follow the signs to the park.

I type over myself again. Anyway, if some are from CT and some from MA then maybe we meet around Bretton Point in RI. I believe there are many places to stop, tie up and eat aound there.
