Thats the understatement of the year :(

I was there Saturday and Sunday. I had a blast. I met a few TDR guys, great people. The most impresive thing of the whole weekend was looking in the stands during the National Anthum and NOBODY was TALKING. Thant meant alot to my Dad and he said something to me about it. I live in Indy and had prior plans so I could not attend the "unofficial burnout contest" but will make no plans so I can attend next year. -Jason

P. S. Tim, this is one hoosier that likes the time change.

I'm sorry but that C-10 Chevy is sweet, the only thing that would make it better is if it was 4WD. I love the old Chevies, oh and it needs stacks too.

Were the owners of the trucks involved mad, or upset about the situation? Or did things get handled smoothly? We missed it by about an hour or so, did anyone get video footage of it happening?

im not sure,,, I didnt see it first hand just heard the story and saw the truck sunday morning,, sorry for the crappy photo but only had the cell phone at the time.

My brother and I made it back. We had a great time. :D Hope to make it out again. Passed Big MAK on the way back.

Hit the rollers this morning. On the 3 pulls, I avg 357. 9/780. 5. Highest was 363/793. Need the 3k GSK, BAD.

Sure had fun watching the U-Haul truck on the race track. :D :-laf He was getting faster.

Uh - the donut / crash situation was not nessicarily handled smoothly - I was right there when it happened and he hit my friends truck. Obviously anyone of us would be upset and embarrased if it would have been us! There were definitly some attitudes flying but everything got taken care of once the cops came and filed a crash report and insurance will take care of the rest : )

It was Doug Yoder's Dodge that he hit - don't no if you know him or not but he just clipped Doug's rear bumper then hit the front driver side of a white dodge that I don't know who owned.

I got my trans fixed finally on Sat. just before the staging lanes opened - luckily I had gone ahead and registered in faith earlier! - It just took talking to the right person at the right time! Talked to Richard Brown and he found the there was no voltage at the trans relay in the fuse box so he hot wired it and worked perfect! Many thanks to him!! he totally made my day!!!!

Zach,

That was a sad sight but luckily no one was hurt or worse. They can be fixed and that's the good thing. On a side note there are some SWEET looking trucks in the background of your picture :-laf
