Truck Fest - July 24, 2005 - Bandimere - Denver, CO

Weekend at the Edge 05

If anybody has any pics of a black 1999 2500 sport that did (or tried) a couple of burnouts in front of the Amerihost on friday night I would really love to see them.

My truck has a TDR decal and a #3 sticker on the back glass.

Edit: Unusual 3 day weekend throed me off.

What the RED truck with the Green flames? That's a Sheid Diesel Engine in it no?

Huh!? What caused it? Anyone know?

yes it does have a scheid motor in it and it didn't just crack the block it blew the whole number six cylinder out of the back of the block. :{ dad isn't sure what he is going to do at this point. i've got some pics i'll try to post later.

What's up with Frank (Red Hot Weld) on the tv camera? And one serious trophy? I miss the trip out with him in the convoy last year. Man Me and Johnny D were crying at him going thru the mtns with BD 7's and a stock hx40 turbo and comp on 5X5 ALL THE TIME. The poor egt guage was smashed thru the glass and aimed straight at his chest it was the gawd funniest thing seeing 14,000 lbs huffin down the highway like that.

Does anyone have a official number of people that attended the event over the weekend?

Any guesses?

same dates next year?

Thunder @ IRP vs. TIM???

For you folks that have been to both events, TIM & T-IRP, did you like one better than the other. I would imagine the location would be the biggest difference.

I went to TIM, last year, & had a great time. Couldn't make it this year. It's quite a drive, with the RV (trailer) from Phoenix, AZ. Last year, it was well worth the trip.

Hey Hoot!

Good video! Thanks! The first time when I tried to save it, it said it was complete and played up until Merrick was doing his burnout, then it quit. That was about 7 minutes in. The next time I just tried opening it. Came back a few hrs later and it said it was done. I got just past the cycle burnouts and to the DMAX burnout, then it quit. I knew it wasn't done because it never gave me control of where in the video it was playing. Any tips? I'm going to try to save it again and see what happens. It looks good so far!
