Anyone know whos grey 2wd std cab drag truck that was racing? My truck is the same model, 2wd std cab, just wondering what kind of hp he is making to run the numbers he did so i know what it will take.

I can tell you this. Ive seen his #s -although Id never tell anyone what I saw I will tell you it is one of the two highest #s Ive seen from a "VP" 24 valve.

There was also a 1994 12v Grey 2wd in the street class that you may be thinking of.

I'm not sure which one. This one was a sport or all painted anyways. It had a bed cover and stacks. I think it ran like low 12's.

Yep, to me too. Mark's 94 is a lighter grey than Ted's, doesn't have stacks but was running mid 12's in the street class.

Mark Thompson, but I don't believe he is a TDR member. He drives a truck Jeff Garmon built years ago. Twins, modded stock pump, injectors. I ran the truck back in 2003 at Atlanta for the then current owner and nailed a few 12. 5's. Jeff and Mark have made some tweaks since then and I believe his best is a 12. 3 and 109.

Thats some pretty good times, I would like to run that with mine. Fastest i've ever been with my old 98. 5 was 12. 93@102 but that was a QC 4x4 LB, so i figured I might be able to have a little better chance with a 2wheeler. what is Jeff Garmons handle on here?

That's actually a great ET for the mph in my opinion.

Jeff is jeff2. He doesn't post on here alot but he's around when he has time.

Thanks for the info. I'll see if i can drop him a line and maybe he can give me some pointers on my 2 wheeler. I would like to get some times like Marks and still be able to drive it on a regular basis. Thats the sweet part about these trucks is the driveability and still have a butt load of hp and tq.
