the plate between the power steering box and frame

mines cracking again, and i'm tired of welding it. anybody know if it's still available from the dealer? or a better place to get one? thanks.

I replaced mine about 2 years ago. Got it from the dealer. Cost about $50. I've got an extra one (new) if you can't find one.

The bracket was still in stock a year or so ago. I payed $25. for mine.

When I bought my new one several years ago, the part number changed many times. It was not much money, $25 sounds about right, was $50 for two??

Yah, that sounds right, I was thinking about it today. The $50 was for two brackets. Must be all of the xylene and formaldehyde vapors affecting the squash

My brother went thru this with his 92... he installed a new bracket but also welded/drilled/bolted a large angled "fishplate" on the inside of the frame rail. He runs big Sswampers on his truck for his hunting and fishing trips and so far no sign of any recurrence. .
