Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) the power puck?

Hey fellas, i just sold my 01 cummins that had all sorts of mods and was giving me too much trouble. now im looking at an 02 dually 6 speed and it has a Banks exhaust brake, and a power puck programmer. I've heard the power puck's can destroy common rails, does anyone now about these and how they work?

i had the powerpuck on my 01 and i liked it pretty well. . ended up selling it because i wanted more hp but as long as i had it it worked perfectly. . easy to take on and off too. . just my 2 cents. .

common rails you don't have a common rail and i don't think 60 hp will kill it your vp truck. but get a fuel presure gauge.

k thanks, if i buy the truck that's the first thing im going to put on it. i mentioned common rails because ive read that they have issues with the power puck and their injectors, something about too much pressure, so just wondering if the same problem happened on the 2nd gens.
