2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission The promised eSwitch

For those wondering about the electronic switch (backuplights, washer heater, etc) that I mentioned and promised before. It is HERE. This is the updated version using a common computer CMOS chip, a 4049 called a Hex Buffer (they also make a great distortion pedal for guitar!). This switch allows you to push on/push off or it will reset to off when power is deprived (key off). Each switch utilizes 3 of the 6 buffers and 8 outboard components (11 counting the voltage regulator in the upper left corner). Thus if you think you are seeing double—you are! Two switches from one chip. I would recommend including the regulator- don't count of the truck's charging system to stay within safe limits for a digital device
