I am still pondering the thought of switching to stacks. Can you guys tell me about noise regular driving/towing, and drone? I have a great exhaust right now that looks and sounds great, but theres something about those stacks.

Also I still have not found a nice set of running boards. I would like some wide enough to actually step on and paintable to match the truck, a few decorative lights may be nice. Take a look at my rig in the gallery and let me know your suggestions.

Please take a moment and help me out, I've looked a while and need the help.

Your best bet is find someone with stacks and go for a ride with them.



As for the running boards, either go through the readers rigs pictures, or hit some car shows.

I switched from the Jardine 4" to stacks, I left the Magnaflow mufler there and used a sweeping 90* right after the muffler straight up to the bed of the truck to a "T" and to the stacks from there, daily driving is no different than before, when I am towing or getting on it the noise is a bit more but not much at all.



Running boards, if you want the painted style, go with the Mopar fiberglass units they look great but I remember they are spendy.

Thanks for the replies, if you have a web address for the running boards it would be most helpful. I did a search but only returns dealerships with no pictures of the product.

Also was wondering if soot was a big problem all over the truck? Are you straight piped or using a muffler?
