Have a 95 DRW 2WD with 205k miles. When I get to 60mph I can feel it start to shake and by 70 mph the whole cab is rattling. I took off the back four tires and had them all rebalanced then replaced the rear shocks, still just the same. It feels like every bet of road vibration is making it into the cab. I suspect worn bushings either the body or somewhere on the suspension.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Under power, coasting or both? Without knowing that you can't tell if it is drive train or rolling assembly issues.

Both under power and coasting. I replaced the front shocks today, and its still going on. With the new shocks, it feels like a driveline issue. The old ones were so trashed that it was just bouncing around on the springs. It does not have the shaking anymore, but it feels like something is spinning out of balance. Maybe driveshaft. Of course I forget to check if the weight had fallen off.

The drive shaft is probably a good place to start. While down there, check the carrier bearing. I would also take another look at your tires. Jack up your truck and spin them to see if they are out of round. Often the kids doing the balancing just pull the hood down on the balancer and not look for a tire going out of round. It doesn't help to balance an egg shaped tire. Good luck

The carrier bearing is less than a year old. One of my front tires is an egg, and will be replaced as soon as I can get it to Goodyear. When I took the back 4 and the spare in, Goodyear was backed up for the rest of the day so with reservations I took it to the local BigO which is operated by a pack of slappies, but who could screw up tire balancing right. Well I took them out of the back of the little truck and one of the weights fell off in the driveway. Took it back, and was waiting in front of the bay when they put the weight back on. Captain mutton chops was beating the weights on with a claw hammer, and it looked like he put on a few extra. Got back home and checked the others. Quite a few that were barely hanging on. Poked one and it came off, so waited until the next day and took all five to Goodyear to have it done correctly. Good times.
