Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) The stutters

Ok here is what happened. I power washed the bed of my truck last night and as I was walking by the drivers side front fender well I thought I would blast the crud off my front shock and spring. Had to drive to work last night and all was fine, but when I started the truck this morning it started missing hard like once or twice every 5 seconds. I shut it off and restarted the truck and it has not done it since???? Could I have got some moister in the ECM?

Dumb question: Any chance that there is a loose injector line Mike? I seem to recall that you were looking at those not too long ago?

No everything seems tight. I dont know what is going on but I do know it was a really hard miss.

I think the ECM is in the cab, if memory serves me. You MAY have wandered across another bugaboo. A couple of us have experienced "funny" running that cleared up with cleaning the battery terminals.



The main set of them is on the drivers side.
