 Just curious as to how many of us are going to " Diesel Days " at Hunter Dodge in Lancaster, Ca. next Saturday, the 18th of October?

Looking forward to meeting everyone out there. :D

Bummer...

Sorry Ron - I'm going to be parked at the Fall Fling swap meet in Van Nuys. I wanted to go to the show in Lancaster pretty badly, but I'm getting ready for a move and I need to offload some parts!

Is it going on through Sunday, or just Saturday? Maybe I can jam out there Sat afternoon if I can get out of Van Nuys early enough. ... Have to think about that.

Van Nuys ???

Sam dude! Now where have I heard of Van Nuys? That's not the place where they refurbish all those WWII fighter planes is it? And maybe the home hanger of the F6F "Rare Bear"fastest fighter around?

Ohmigosh! I truly would give my left arm to take a ride in that two-seater P51 Mustang. Would LOVE to be there!!!!!

The sound of a Rolls Royce Merlin at take-off power... ... ... ... ... ... ... .....

BTW, need'en one of them shifters to plug into MY truck:D

Hey Greenleaf,

That 2nd gen shifter is definitely the ticket!! Installed last weekend. The old one has made a great toy for the 2 yr. old. Can't think of a better use for it! :D

Carl

it is from Dodge. $49. I don't have the part number handy but looks at Samsrams gallery. He has a picture and part number there. His install was a little different than mine (wiring differences) but an easy job.

All weekend??

Fellas -

Is the show going all weekend of just Saturday? I'm going to try to jam up there after the swap meet, just not sure when we'll get outta LA.

Work's kickin' my axx - I'm not even sure I'll get outta here to get down there at all, but the rig is full of lots of Mopar parts from past projects that I have to off load.

Looks like I may be parting out my Power Wagon dually to make room for the diesel conversion - Anyone need PW parts?

Also, I'm working a comprehensive 'instruction manual' for the column o/d conversion. Hardest part is getting the plastic covers off the column without shattering the plastic. Stuff is really brittle, but hey, for ten years old I got no complaints, ja?! It'll be a new thread here soon I hope.

Hope to see y'all down there -

Later dudes,

- Sam
