Well here are some shots of the TDR'S nastiest Combo Rig. It plows snow, sled pulls, drag races and tows the family to vacation spots. Equipped with the best parts our TDR vendors have to offer Snow Man's 2000 2500 4x4 Slt Quad is every owners dream come true. So here are some quick facts told to me by John last nite and I'll post them for all to look over.

Facts... .

-Truck now tips the scales loaded with fuel at 7400lbs.

-Equipped with a Blizzard 8ft plow and wing plow(front plow weighs in at 1000lbs-wing weighs 770 lbs)

-Can plow a 12ft wide path at once.

-VPro 8000 Spreader(weighs 500 empty-3500 loaded)

-Total combo ready for snow removal tips the scales at 13,000 loaded.

-Has gone as fast as 12. 26/109. 25 drag racing.

-Can be seen sled pulling in his local area.

-Is still street driven daily and used to tow camper to vacation spots.

I know John will chime in and fill in the voids. This truck is worthy of a TDR feature article as not many are built to work as hard as this one does in so many environments. This is one hard working nasty play toy and a fine example of one of the best,if not the best combo rigs we have here... ... ... ..... Andy

Hammer, thank you for posting these pics. :D Thanks again for the compliments. I realize i am asking alot of one truck:rolleyes: . But its been a real good truck, and I am amazed at how well it holds up,and how good a plow truck it is. The front plow expands to 10ft,and really rolls the snow. Even with its race setup the truck still plows excellent.

Im defense of Dodge , I have to say this particular truck was very well built. It has 91000 miles on it now. I have tweaked a few parts drag racing it that were totally my fault. But as far as the truck goes its plowed now this is its 4th season, there have been 4 things that needed attention on this truck other than normal maintenance. I have needed the replace the track bar at 50K,the lift pump at 60K,and the transfer case output seal at 60K. The final thing the rear u joint was replaced around 80K miles. The front end is still all original, even the ball joints with the heavy plow on it,its never needed anything else that wasnt broken drag racing,or testing parts. Again Andy thank you for the compliments , I feel honored . John DiMartino

Johns Rig

John, your trucks just plain BAD and that's all there is to it.

it's just a testament to how good these trucks realy are.

(And how well thought out your truck is!!!)

Hey John, nice rig. Looks to be set up very nicely. How is that plow holding up, I was thinkig of getting on of those when my meyers wears out in a couple of years. I know that you guys get a lot more snow than we do so if it holds up to 13000 lbs pushing on it it should hold up to 11000 lbs only useing it half as much. ps. if you ever get tired of pushing with that auto, I'll let you come plow with my 6 spd and a Mitchell pulling clutch, talk about a long night:{ Dean

Awesome! And all that with an *automatic* :D

I'm afraid to ask but will anyhow - What do all those improvements do for you fuel economy for "normal" driving or towing the camper?

I knew as soon as i saw the title of this thread, it had to be about John's truck.

I have nothing to add, just wanted to say that John's truck is indeed bad ass. he's done a great job on it. I think it's pretty cool that the fastest thing i've ever riden in, isn't even a car, it's john's 12 second truck. :D

Here is a better side shot of the wing plow for you all.....

Looks like the co-pilot is having as much fun as the pilot while working:D :D :D :D :D .

John. .

No need for thanks, your truck is a righteous ride and speaks for itself. It was my pleasure to help you get some shots up for those to see it. make sure you send me a shot of the spreader on it as none of the ones I have are with it on the truck. I also will post a drag racing shot if you get one to me.

Here is a little bonus shot of his Dad's ride, maybe some of you have seen it somewhere before and I'll let john tell ya about it from the description included with the pic... ... ... . Andy
