On September 3 I will be going to Virginia Beach to meet with Tim and upgrade my transmission to DTT specs. I am also going to have FI 105hp injectors installed. I can't wait!! My truck is a 99 with 60,000 miles on it, 410 rear and 35 inch tires. I have a Banks powerpack with the transmission wire disconnected. Its been on the truck for 50,000 miles. Should I get rid of the banks box and get an edge comp? If so will my truck be able to handle the power now? I have the stock turbo with the silencer ring removed and the exhaust is straighted piped.

I am on my second injection pump and second lift pump. I don't have a fuel pressure gauge and was wondering what gauge you guys recommend?

What else do you guys recommend doing to this set up? I don't tow much at all I just use it as a daily driver/race car.

All Jokes aside I would forget the edge and go with TST the gains are not even compareable A friend of mine has the edge Comp DraG and I have the TST. when the truck just had the TST he and I ran and I blew him away. I have had the TST on the truck for over 3 years now and have never had a problem, When I recently upgraded turbo and Injectors The TST helped my gains even more. Everyone estimated I would be lucky to see 12's in the 1/4 mile and my second pass was a 12. 7 @105 with a bad 1. 8 60' once I address the traction issue, I should see a 12. 5 pass. But everyone else with my setup has the Edge and from what I have been told, are not seeing these times running only 46 psi of boost on a stock head. Hope this may help you, give TST a call

What other mods do you have. I figure if I get the tst that I would blow something up.

What year is your truck and what tst products are you running?

2000 And yes i wiped out the stock auto transmission with just the TST, but I have the TST powermax Competition 180hp over stock, and over 400 ft lbs torque over stock and these numbers have been dynoed through TST. The good thing about tst is having 9 levels you can really tone down the power increases, I think level one is 40 or 60 hp over stock, and level zero is stock.

Now I am running a Fully built Suncoast, Mach 6 injectors, Industrial injection Silver Bullet Turbo, Stage 3 Meth Injection and 5" exhaust, I am happy so far my second run put me at 12. 7 in the 1/4 mile with a bad 1. 8 60' so once I address the traction issue we should see 12. 5, and once I kick the boost up and o ring the head I may see low 12's

With a stock turbo what level do you think I can go to?

The tst powemax 3 looks like the highest one for my truck on there web site. Is the powermax comp something you have to special order. Do you also run the smarty controller.

By the way that is fast as sh@#. I have a 79 vette that runs 12. 30's naturally asperated and low 11's on a 100 shot. But I am shifting through 5 gear before I cross the line. Any way one day I will trailer my vette to the track and unhook my truck and run 12's with that, hook the trailer back up and go home. :-laf

Thats what I like to hear, I ran level nine on the chip with the stock turbo, The competition is a require a signaute for a waiver for legalities type of purchase, dont let that scare you away, they just dont advertise it on the website, I am not running anything for timing, I have talked to a bunch of guy about this issue, I may try the smarty but TST advises me with my mods, If I try to advance timing I may cause some damage to the motor because of how much fuel I am dumping into the truck, I really have a slep pulling monster but I like going fast, and by accident its putting me in the mid 12's right where I wanted to be, any more questions feel free to ask away

Do you think you could stack the banks box with the tst? I believe the banks adjust fuel timing, and boost. With mine I can get up to 37 psi. Does the tst fool the boost?

The guy who is doing my transmission said that I could upgrade my turbo to a hx40 at www.htturbo for about $400. 00. I wonder if this would be a smart investment.

I would definitely get a fuel pressure gauge. At the very least get the low pressure LED. The gauge is not much more.

Also, would'nt be a bad idea to re-locate the LP to the frame by the tank.

A pyrometer would be a good idea too if you dont have one already. Especially since you are playing with injectors.

And a boost gauge.

You guys should fill out your signature so we can see what kind of truck you have and what mods you have done (if any).

I just did my signature but it does not show up??

The banks kit came with a pyro and boost gauge, exhaust, chip and cool air intake.

Here is my truck 99 quad cab, 35 BFG's, 410's, Banks powerpack , Sept 3 the transmission and injectors.

Since I need a fuel pressure gauge and a trans gauge and it would be nice to get my true speed. I think I am going to order the edge juice with attitude, and scratch the banks box.

"Also, would'nt be a bad idea to re-locate the LP to the frame by the tank. "

What do you guys think of the fuel pump kit that they have on DTT website?
