The rod that attaches to the front passanger 4X4 axle then attaches to the driver frame with a ball joint has about 2"-3" of give. #ad
I'm not front end inclined so how much is to much and is the ball joint end replacable or do you have to buy the hole rod??

Thanks

Mac

Bombed-to-be!

If it's a ball joint, that's way too much give. Sounds like the panhard rod. It keeps the whole marianne from going right to left. Ck with the Pep Boys, Allied & other parts houses 1st, before the dealer.

RCMC,for sure trackbar or panhard rod(same thing)Book says amount of allowable play is in the hundredths of an inch. Napa is good, $169 for lifetime warrenty, you will have to replace it again and again. I aways called these things stabilizer bars as do most parts houses I've dealt with,I think Dodge may be the only one to call it a trackbar.

Missouri, It drives ok dosen't wander as much as I would think. But A soon as some funds come I think I'll get a new one. Don't want to be haulin down the road and watch the front end slide out #ad
that probably wouldn't be a good thing.

Thanks for all the help

Mac
