What does everyone think would make the ultimate pulling setup, for maxed out GVW?

- 12v or 24v (If 12v, which one/year - If 24v, which one/year)

- Cam plate

- Injectors

- Turbo(s)

- Air filter

- Exhaust

Just looking for everyone's ideas/thoughts/input.

You should do ok with what you have as long as your clutch holds.

A Govenor spring kit will help so you get more rpm.

Good mud tires seem to help too.

ultimate pulling rig

- Anything cummins P-pumped (durability + simplicity)

- BHAF

- Manual

- Gear splitter

- 4:10s

- 4" exhaust ( no bigger because E-brake needed)

- Full gauges

- E-brake

- Quick spool bigger turbo (pulling twin turbos ok- but might need US Gear inline e-brake)

- Fueling mods

- 19. 5" wheels (for added margin of saftey)

- duel rear wheels

- Western Hauler,B&W or some other lowered rail replacement bed W/both gooseneck & 5th hitchs.

- 100 gal. aux fuel tank.

- Henderson air suspension or equivelant W/in cab controls.

- Full synthetic fluids.

- Vespar heater if in cold areas.

- And ,of course, satellite & CB radios

You are making the drool! That is the exact truck that I want to build. The only thing that I would add is a set of 5" turned out stacks coming thru the bed...

Ok lets dip into the kids college fund.....

The ultimate pulling truck will change every year as people experiment with "new" ideas and find more hp. Some one needs to come up with a break through for us rpm handy capped 24ver's so we can turn 4500 rpm or more if they find a way.

When I think of the 'ultimate pulling truck' I think of a truck that I can use to pull any 5th wheel that we may want. And any hill that may come up... the turbo's(2) starts to whistle and away we go.

My son said it the best the other day when we were giving the truck a well needed bath. He said. . dad what you are telling me is that you want a truck that looks and runs like no one elses...

Anyway... that is what I am looking for...
