I am not really mad at him... ..... He is just so happy with his new exhaust system... ... ... Keep writing he just loves it... ... . The Wife, Marty

Marty,

Don't worry, this is just the start of a true BOMBing Love for his truck!

My wife use to wonder why also, however she has grown to love the "White Obsession" as much as I do. You should have seen her at the Dyno run last Wednesday when the "White Obsession" put out 412 HP and 881 ft/lbs of torque. She talks about Grandpa's truck, the "White Obsession" to all her friends, children and grandchildren.

Enjoy the ride!

Kyllo and Marty, are you guys going to be able to join us at Rob Hanson's for the BOMBing party? Hope to meet you there. Sorry Kathy (my wife and best friend) will not be able to attend this time, she has other obligations.

Take care and enjoy it, Big Bob

Marty... think of it this way...

He could be out spending that money in a bar... getting bad ideas from the other men!

And, he is starting his BOMBing the right way... there is a "proper order of upgrades", which it appears he is following...

Congrats are in order to him, and to you!
Come see us on the 17th...

Cummin than Strokin.

Marty,

This is great that you asked these questions because we rarely hear about the benefits of a new 4" exhaust system.

I'm not sure if he's told you about how it will double the engine life of the motor.

Or how, it creates more airflow so as to cut harmful emissions in half (so the kids can all breathe a little easier - its... "for the children").

Also, after some carbon builds up inside & gets a good lining going, gas mileage gradually increases to a point where it will actually pay for itself, then start bringing in new found income to the family. Its kinda like a financial investment. Its also tax free! Hell, it might even pay for college.

There are alot more benefits of a new 4" exhaust system that I haven't thought of yet, but I'm sure that some of the otherrrrr TDR members may be able to shed some light on. They can be so helpful in this way...

I personally am very impressed w/ your husbands willpower & constraint, considering that so many of the less disciplined husbands end up spending lots more money on the new... 5" exhaust system.

This guy borders on incredible. I don't know how you ever found a guy like this, but he's like a beacon of hope #ad
for the rest of us less fortunate TDR husbands to follow, learn, & grow from.

Thank you Marty, for sharing this enlightening question, maybe some other very helpful members can expand more on this extremely important topic that affects the lives of all of our TDR members' marital relationships so strongly. #ad

Ok, true, I was kidding about the paying for college part, but the rest was true, really. . really... honest!

Shortshift... LMAO.

How much is it gonna cost me to get you to pen a letter to MY wife? Whatever it costs, writing like that would be worth it. #ad

Heehee!

Sorry, but almost forgot to mention how happy my wife was that I got our performance exhaust system a couple yrs back. Yes true, it is the older model but, we've finally built up enough soot in the thing to where the truck almost runs on air...

She's so pleased, that she even told me to hold off on getting her chocolates for Valentines Day, that it was her turn to actually get something for me for a change! I'll Be darned!!

Big, big, asset to anyone's Turbo diesel investment. (sorry, couldn't help it - its raining outside & wanted to go play w/ the truck)

Thanks Big Bob for getting back with the wife on my new exhaust system ... you are going over to Rob Hanson's on the 17th? just where the heck is it ? Rob has yet to give an adress or directions , nor have I givien him a bunch of crapp for not doing that ! I am in the very beginings of any Bombing, but do wish more info all the time ,If the timeing is right, this could be a stop over for you

I'll have Rob send you directions. I am going to come over on Thursday, got business to take care of on Friday. Email me your phone number and address, if timing is right I'll stop by on the way over.

I think Vaughn MacKinzie from Tri-cities and Jim from Helena, Mt. are going to meet in Moses Lake and BOMBvoy over on Friday, if you want to tag along, I know you would be welcome.

Hope to see you Saturday!
