Diesel Bombers - THEFT OF SERVICES?



he stole from the idaho TDR chapter www idahoturbodiesels com and our dyno shop and good friends and fellow ITD members, MOTOR MAYHEM which you read about in the last TDR mag.



check out the thread above for more info on the probable theif.



he has a VERY SHORT time to respond and make payment arrangements before law enforcement pays him a visit.



we all would like to think it was an honest mistake, but after the info we are finding out it looks like it was done with malice and forethought.



there are some 'interesting' items posted on the above thread.

Sorry to hear about this "individual" and his lack of class. I do hope it was an honest mistake but I'm afraid it was not. Hope to see you in August. Also hope the problem was properly taken care of by then.

muddy i read other article. I cant believe that guy. Just when you think you've seen or heard it all.

it is hard to believe anyone would do such an offense. and to think he'd get away with it. and now, especially with his past history of being stupid, he may find himself doing jail time for it. and not only that he may very well bring some of his friends down with him.



he only has a few short hours left to save his butt. ITD'ers have stepped forward with info, pics, and testimony that is damning to this apparent crooked individual and his buddies who accompanied him.

Lesson... stupid kid steals $50 from a responsible adult. You will get it back and more if you just let it go... its not worth it.

Rather than use the police time on it though, I say find these trucks involved and do $500 damage to each.

exactly. he deserves this and more. however i dont endorse doing damage to the trucks involved but doing things right and legal.



LR suggests letting it go. what kind of message does this send? this needs to be pushed all the way for a maximun penalty to persuade him and others like him that immoral acts will not be tolerated.



8 years of ITD putting on diesel events and no incidents of dishonesty. till now. we will do what ever it takes to send a message to the 'scum' to make it clear that they are not welcome at our events.



one of the reasons why society has slid downhill is because of these 'go soft' attitudes like LR displays. these punks think it is no big deal if the do acts such as this and they will surely get a break, IF caught.



maximum penalty for this kid. you cant say he hasnt been given a break for the past 2 weeks with warnings to come forward and make it right.

I agree he HAS to pay but I don't agree with doing anything illegal to make him pay. I hate to use the old adage but two wrongs do not make a right.

you perform work on a rig in your shop and the deadbeat customer refuses to pay you.

ya then put a mechanics lein on it. why would this be different.

WELL,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the word has been out. he has been informed on the ITD club site and all over on the diesel truck forums. local and national. the contact number he has provided has been contacted right from the start, minutes after he fled the scene. messages left. his friends and aquaintances called and warned. he had been given the benefit of the doubt that it could've been an honest mistake for 2 weeks after. it was let known that he could just come forward and pay the bill and it would be treated as if maybe he had a brain fart and it would go nowhere else. theran kolp refused to make it right, proving what we all knew that it wasnt a brain fart and he intentionally dynoed with intent to steal services by rapidly skipping out after his dyno runs.



he was given a deadline with notification by law enforcement officials. he even had an extra 24 hours past the deadline to step forward before it came to the point of no return. it is no longer an issue of him just paying for the services he stole, but now he made this a serious matter by failing to act even when he was given a break.



now 3 law enforcement agencies are involved in this case. information is being produced to help prosecute. and with his record and past history odds are that they will go hard on this kid. :jail: a small $ amount, yes, but the principle of the thing. and it IS a crime. the fact that he is a habitual offender will multiply things. the fact he has done time and been on probation will make things tough on him, as it should.



this kid has gotten a break and thumbed his nose at MM. my opinion is that with what witnesses stated about his behavior regarding the fact that he intentionally skipped out with intent of stealing, law enforcement should've been called on the spot. olice: :bat:



now the process has started and they are proceeding. someone better buy theran some soap on a rope :scare2:

I cannot figure out why a person would do something as stupid as this. does he not know you pay to play? Or is he just stupid? Or feels he can get away with it because he plans on never returning?

Either way, I hope you catch the little thief.

from reading his 'rap sheet' it shows he doesnt have a lick of sense. as to paying for truck mods, burglery is one of the past crimes listed. [the list only goes back to when he was 18. i'm curious as to how long the list got in his juvienile years. ] i figure he thought he'd get away with it. no one knows him except for his buds tony and torin and that handful of non ITD members that probably wont be back either. theran kolp figured we didnt know him and the shop couldnt track him with the false info he gave and they dont care about 50 bucks. and he also wrongly assumed the club members wouldnt care since it isnt out of ITD's pocket directly. but he doesnt know the ITD club very well apparently.



things are progressing with the help of law enforcement and kolp will get his reward for theivery.
