Has anyone used this product? I am doing a complete cab swap on my truck and the fire wall insulator/ heat shield is pretty tired. This looks like a pretty good solution and I could cover more area.
Thoughts?

How about anything similar?

I've done a bunch of reading. I am going to follow your lead and go with the second skin. I will give them a call as I am considering using the spectrum undercoating on the exterior cab floor and fenders. I was going to use 3M rubberized undercoating but the Spectrum sounds better. Did you install the Thermo Tec over the pipe as it passes under the cab floor or just on the face of the firewall?

I ordered the damplifier pro, thermal insulation and the spectrum undercoating/ sound deadner from Second Skin Audio. Should be here in a few days.

My stuff arrived Saturday and I spent today applying it. Went pretty easy. The Damplifier cuts alright with a razor knife or hd shears. It has an aluminum layer to contend with. Easily molds to the various shapes of the firewall. I made a roller to press the Damplifier against the surface from the roller on a bed frame. Be careful and don't take all of the paper backing of at once. Once the stuff touches a surface it is pretty much there. It went well and wasn't that difficult to do. Of course I was cheating because the cab is off and nothing is sticking through the firewall. The difference is impressive. Tap on the firewall now and all you get is a dull thud.
I used a spray-able product called Spectrum to undercoat/ soundproof the underneath of the cab. Easily applied with a undercoating gun. It covers well. No drips. I used a gallon to put 2 good coats on with a little extra applied to the underneath of the transmission hump. I also sprayed the interior side of the hump as well as the inside of the front doors. I reserved about a 1/2pint. Clean up is a snap with soap and hot water. I still have a layer of heat shield to apply to the firewall. I also have 2 sheets of the black soundproofing left. I think I am going to order a couple more and apply them to the back wall of the cab.
Overall at this point I think this is pretty good stuff. Of course the real test will be when I get this all put back together and head on down the road. Now I can do the final assembly of the cab.
I put a few pictures up on photo bucket.
