Thermostat Check old P/N

Only had stat in for 20K miles, checked it and found it broken at one ear holding the spring. It was P/N 3935811 dated 6-00, replaced it with P/N

3954194 dated 6-01. It is easy to check and see what condition they are in. I hope it goes in spring side down.

Thermostat

Had a bad one in mine, 1999, the one that came out was 3943200, replaced with Mopar #05015090AA. I have a spare Cummins thermostat under the rear seat, 3935811, supposed to be the new and improved. I don't think the thermostat will go in any way except with the spring down. bg

7-8, figure 9 of my 2000 factory service manual shows it spring down.



Ps. Thx for heads up on revised number, my spare is the 'ol #. Was planning on changing it out good or not @ 2yr coolant flush this summer.
